Both a poet and fine artist e. jean lanyon has served as Delaware's Poet Laureate from 1979-2001. The Delaware native's detailed watercolors reflect her interest and keen observations of nature. A true plein air artist, she has taken her easel and brushes outdoors to capture the beauty of Delaware from Branywine Springs Park to Pea Patch island.
